Who can use dazl
You must be 18 or older to create a dazl account or use dazl. By signing up you confirm that you are 18 or older. dazl is a tool for businesses and is not meant for children.
The service
dazl answers your customers on your website, by email and on a hosted booking page; it books appointments on your Google Calendar and alerts you about every lead. You are responsible for the facts dazl uses: review what it learned from your website and correct anything that is wrong. dazl will not quote a price or make a promise that is not in your facts.
Emergencies
dazl is not an emergency service. When a customer describes an emergency (for example flooding, a gas smell, or no heat in freezing weather), dazl shows them the phone number you provide and alerts you immediately. Keep that number current and answered.
Plans and billing
Free preview. No card required. Paid plans are not available yet.
There is no subscription, renewal, cancellation fee or paid period while paid plans are unavailable. We will show the price and terms before any future purchase.
Acceptable use
Use dazl only for your own lawful business. Do not use it to send spam, to mislead customers, or to collect information you are not allowed to collect. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or put others at risk.
Messages you send
You are the sender of every message dazl writes or sends for you. You must follow the rules of the country each recipient is in, for example:
- Canada: Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
- United States: the CAN-SPAM Act.
- European Union and United Kingdom: the GDPR (and the UK GDPR) and the ePrivacy rules, including the UK's Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
- India: the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and TRAI's rules on commercial communications.
- Anywhere else: the laws of the country the person you write to is in.
dazl adds your business name, your postal address and a way to stop to every message and honours stop requests, but it does not decide for you whether you may contact someone. Only write to people you are allowed to contact.
Copyright
Only publish material you have the right to use. We remove material when we receive a valid copyright notice, and we close the accounts of businesses that repeatedly infringe. How to send a notice or a counter-notice: copyright and DMCA takedowns.
Your data
You own your business information and your customers' conversations. Our privacy policy explains how we handle it. You can export or delete it at any time.
Availability and liability
We work hard to keep dazl running. If the AI is unavailable, dazl tells your customer it can't answer right now, shows your phone number, and alerts you. dazl is provided "as is"; to the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim.
Changes
We will email you before material changes take effect. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the laws of the country where your business is based.
